Piri piri prawns and scallops skewers

Skewers for two, skewers for lovers? The distinction  of the prawns with the delicacy of the scallops are perfectly associate with the Piri-Piri sauce to allow a successful romantic diner.

For 4 persons 

Ingredients :

300g of raw Patagonian prawn tails

200g of scallops

1 thinly chopped red chili pepper

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 teaspoon of squeezed coriander

3 squeezed garlic cloves

1 lime

15cl of virgin olive oil

Salt, pepper

4 skewers

 

Cooking Instructions:

 

1. Thaw the prawns and the scallops the day before or soak them in water for 1 hour.

2. Peel the prawn and place them on the skewers by alternate with scallops.

3. Mix the olive oil with the chili pepper, the paprika, the coriander, the garlic, the lime juice, season with salt and pepper.

4. Pour the “Piri-Piri” marinade on your skewers and let marinade 15minutes minimum (until one night).

5. Brown your skewers 2 minutes each side (you can also cook them on a grill).

6. Dress on a plate and serve with basmati rice.
